Lugnut and Blitzwing arrive on Earth, but Megatron contacts Lugnut only, not trusting the crazy Blitzwing. This clip shows them acquiring their new Earth modes. No visible transformations here, but a look at their mode scans and Blitzwing's switching face feature, which explains his Triple Changer-ness. David Kaye (Animated Optimus Prime, BW/BM/A/E/C Megatron) does Lugnut, and Bumper Robinson (Animated Bumblebee) does Blitzwing, which makes some of the conversations later in the episode kind of interesting. A tribute for the two near most popular Decepticons of Transformers Animated: Starscream and Blitzwing. WARNING: If viewed in the right way, this video could be considered slashy. The proper definition of slash in fanfiction terms is the pairing of characters of the same gender, here being male/male. A longwinded review where I tell you why I don't care for this guy, get a phone call from a guy who wants to buy my dually (hopefully) and comment on the sad state of triple changer affairs. PS: Someone with more power of suspension of disbelife might like the guy more, and I KNOW it they are cartoon acurate, but I still don't like his alt modes.

Blitzwing is one of the three Decepticon Triple Changers. His alternate modes are a jet and a tank. Blitzwing was already a very popular toy before it became a Transformer and his popularity increased since he entered season 2 of Transformers. There are many unofficial versions made of Blitzwing in the 80's. I used to have one of those. It was a smaller version of the real Blitzwing and very well made. The materials and accuracy of the mold was equal to the original. Blitzwing had one show dedicated to him, Astrotrain and Octane to promote the Triple Changers. One of the main complaints that people have about Blitzwing is that his jet cockpit is visible in tank mode, but I like it because his cartoon character looked the same in tank mode, thus making it a unique Blitzwing tank design. The figure has die cast metal and proper transformations. The feet of my Blitzwing is loose because of aging. Blitzwing comes with a sword, 3 missiles that can be inserted in his missile launchers and a gun. The good thing about figures like Blitzwing and Astrotrain is that both alternate modes have completely opposite color schemes (dark/light) and you wouldn't be able to tell that both modes come from the same figure.
