With no guests, dancers or backup of any kind, the two legendary stars breezed through an incredibly accomplished programme of songs and sketches. For years available only as a rare soundtrack LP, here at last is the original hi-fi album CD audio, synched to the B&W kinescope of this historic broadcast. Noel Coward (fresh from his triumph in Las Vegas) performs a stunning rendition of his signature tune, MAD DOGS AND ENGLISHMEN.
