Pound scoprì -- scavalcando Marx nell'indagine sul capitalismo -- che il denaro è di chi lo emette perché, con tale funzione, lo addebita allo Stato ed ai cittadini. Concessione deputata dallo stato da 3 secoli (fondazione della Banca d'Inghilterra, 1696), con rinuncia alla sovranità monetaria. Debito dei cittadini per titolo (il denaro) che appartiene a loro, con aggiunta del "tasso", stabilito da banche e non dal governo statale. Osservazione da Pound manifestata a Mussolini il 3 gennaio 1933, al quale il Poeta indicò il sistema di "non far pagare le tasse ai cittadini, tassando il denaro alla Banca Centrale al momento dell'emissione", in luogo di bollo virtuale riscosso in misura simbolica. Il Duce fu stupefatto; raccolse definitivamente le indicazioni poundiane il 23 maggio 1943, ma dopo due mesi la catastrofe italiana vanificò l'applicazione del suggerimento. The composition is Pound's attempt to set the speech rhythms of a poem by Guido Cavalcanti to music. It is, in my opinion, probably his most successful piece of violin music. Please note: any foolish comments praising Mussolini, Hitler, fascism or expressing any sort of anti-semitic nonsense will be deleted. Although Pound was an interesting character and wrote a few valuable things, I in no way agree with his political views or the vast majority of his other views (when they are coherent enough to understand).

Almost half of them were engaged in various conflicts on the African continent. Inspired by his own war-torn upbringing, Aduaka's film is the story of seven year-old Ezra, who is kidnapped by rebels on the way to school. After he was taken into the jungle and trained as a soldier, Ezra finds himself seven years later in front of a "Truth and Reconciliation Commission," which asks him to piece together a maze of facts surrounding the night of a devastating attack on a village. What is presented as a confession turns into a trial as his mute sister chooses to reveal a secret kept from her brother. Winner of the grand prize at the 2007 FESPACO film festival, Ezra is a hard-hitting film but deals with its difficult and relevant subject matter in a poignant and sensitive fashion.
