One of the first recordings Sinatra made for his own recording label, Reprise Records, this Cole Porter classic was recorded in December 1960 and was originally released on the "Ring-A-Ding Ding" album in March 1961. You'd be so easy to love So easy to idolize all others above So worth the yearning for So swell to keep every home fire burning for And we would be so grand at the game Carefree together that it does seem a shame That you can't see your future with me 'Cause you'd be, oh, so easy to love...

I've been told that when I sing I sound like Frank Sinatra, all true but for the lies.

With some minor alterations, this is essentially the same arrangement of "Stardust" that Sinatra recorded with the Tommy Dorsey band in 1941. Here, Frank is accompanied by his cohorts from "Your Hit Parade," including conductor Mark Warnow. This public domain footage comes from the "Lucky Strike Means Fine Tobacco" promotional film (full movie available at www.archive.org).

A tribute to Ol'Blue Eyes. The original song is a 1968 french hit by Claude François and Jacques Revaux, called "Comme d'Habitude". Paul Anka wrote new lyrics for the english-speaking public and Frank recorded it in 1969, becoming his signature song and closing number in many of his most memorable acts.

Hans Teeuwen performing the Sinatra classic "Come Fly With Me" Hans Teeuwen is a popular cabaret artist in Holland. He was entertaining the talkshow studio guests and audience on election night. Hans might not be a professional singer, I hardly think Frank will roll around hearing this.

Hollywood classic from the Broadway musical adaptation "Anything Goes" (1934). Seems easy enough to find the pictures to illustrate this great Cole Porter tune, except: no one seems to know what a Bendel Bonnet looked like anymore, there's no pictures of Frank Sinatra performing together with Ethel Merman (the sound track is from a TV special adaptation they did in 1956 - if anyone finds pictures, please let me know), and...how do you illustrate "the top"?...tried as best as I could, but my idea was different in the outset. Anyway, dedicated to all my friends: each and every one of you is "the top"!

This little tribute video features scenes from so many of Gene Kelly's works and includes Singing in the Rain, It's Always Fair Weather, On The Town, An American in Paris and many more. The music is naturally classic Elton John at his finest. Singin' in the Rain is a 1952 comedy musical film starring Gene Kelly, Donald O'Connor, and Debbie Reynolds and directed by Kelly and Stanley Donen, with Kelly also providing the choreography. It offers a comic depiction of Hollywood's transition from silent films to "talkies". The movie is frequently described as one of the best musicals ever made,[1] topping the AFI's 100 Years of Musicals list, and ranking fifth in its updated list of the greatest American films in 2007. On the Town is a 1949 movie musical with music by Leonard Bernstein and Roger Edens and book and lyrics by Betty Comden and Adolph Green. It is an adaptation of a Broadway stage musical produced in 1944. The film was directed by Gene Kelly and Stanley Donen, and stars Kelly, Frank Sinatra, Ann Miller, Betty Garrett, Jules Munshin, and Vera-Ellen and features Alice Pearce. It was a product of producer Arthur Freed's Unit at MGM, and is notable for its combination of studio and location filming, as a result of Gene Kelly's insistence that some scenes be shot in New York City itself, including at the American Museum of Natural History, the Brooklyn Bridge, and Rockefeller Center. The movie was an instant success and won the Academy Award for Best Music, Scoring of a Musical Picture, and was nominated for a Golden Globe Award for Best Cinematography (Color). Screenwriters Comden and Green won the Writers Guild of America Award for Best Written American Musical. An American in Paris is a 1951 MGM musical film inspired by the 1928 orchestral composition by George Gershwin. Starring Gene Kelly, Leslie Caron, and Oscar Levant, the film is set in Paris, and was directed by Vincente Minnelli from a script by Alan Jay Lerner. The music is by George Gershwin, with lyrics by his brother Ira, with additional music by Saul Chaplin, the music director. The story of the film is interspersed with show-stopping dance numbers choreographed by Gene Kelly and set to popular Gershwin tunes. Songs and music include "I Got Rhythm," "I'll Build A Stairway to Paradise," "'S Wonderful," and "Our Love is Here to Stay". The climax is "The American in Paris" ballet, an 18 minute dance featuring Kelly and Caron set to Gershwin's An American in Paris. The ballet alone cost more than half a million dollars, a staggering sum at the time. ACADEMY AWARDS Wins Academy Award for Best Picture — Arthur Freed, producer Academy Award for Best Art — Set Decoration, Color — E. Preston Ames, Cedric Gibbons, F. Keogh Gleason, and Edwin B. Willis Academy Award for Best Cinematography, Color — John Alton and Alfred Gilks Academy Award for Best Costume Design, Color — Orry-Kelly, Walter Plunkett, and Irene Sharaff Academy Award for Best Musical Score — Saul Chaplin and Johnny Green Academy Award for Best Writing, Scoring and Screenplay — Alan Jay Lerner
