Heaven sent, a thug angel born in the month of June
He left the world as tears rained down in the form of a monsoon
So many hearts reached, the voice which raised hairs on ones back
The emotion expressed n passion shown to stick up for the colour black,
The inspiring commitment shown through his relentless attack.
Against all odds, a rose that grew from concrete, defying Gods master plan
A fallen warrior that never ran, a hero that put the definition into the word man.
Some say his life ended prematurely, others say at the right time,
But until the end of time, no1 can question the way he put together a rhyme.
No semen found, no evidence concluded, what's this accusation i hear of rape,
They arrested him faster than superman putting on his cape, as if they'd found evidence of an exposing tape.
The angel that lost its way to heaven, temporarily stranded,
His style; clear and candid, thugz mansion was the destination where he eventually landed.
He defied all odds, stepped past every obstacle God had to derive,
Nothing but admiration for his will to survive; he took 5 shots yet he remained alive.
We can only look back & envy his mental strength and bravery,
Single handily fighting the system like a black man b4 they abolished slavery.
So as we reminisce for his protocol son, God has his arms open wide
Screaming Westside, the thug angel left us knowing he failed but tried.
But we've been told to keep our head up, even when we feel most alone,
Strapped because we trapped, nothings changed, because we still living in a war zone.
But one souljah arose from the carnage, a leader, general, eternal outlaw,
God tested him but all he did was scream for more, emphasizing the size of his heart for anyone that was unsure.
He rode low, his lyrics and flow, his beats amazing fast or slow,
Yet the loyalties in his mind clear to show through the constant chant of deathrow, deathrow!
A lost soul that got caught up yet he still managed to ace Gods test
Constantly under arrest, constantly wearing a bulletproof vest, no rest, so what more would you expect, except Thug Life tainted on his chest.
Realest brother to step on this planet, he found time never 2 pretend,
So now all that's left to do is bow down and comprehend as his actions we commend,
The perfect lyrical blend, rest in peace my hero, brother and friend.
