"Setsubun" is celebrated on February 3 of each ear. It welcomes the beginning of Spring. In this video you see partakers hitting a big wodden box with wooden branches. Inside this box is the "Oni" (鬼) or demon. As part of the cleansing, priests throw roasted soybeans and "mochi" rice cakes. Luckily at Shizuoka Sengen Shrine, we got a Sumo Wrestler to help out! ...

Okada Mokichi (1882-1955), founder of this museum, held a firm belief that "works of art should not be monopolized but made available to be viewed and enjoyed by as many people as possible, helping to elevate human sentiments and making big contributions towards cultural development." Soon after the end of World War II, Okada began energetically collecting works of Oriental art. To prevent these art works from being sold abroad, he established the Tômei Art Preservation Society (currently the MOA Art and Cultural Foundation) and opened the Hakone Museum of Art in Gôra, Hakone. To realize the desire of the founder "to build a world-class museum in Atami to introduce the excellent sense for beauty innate in the Japanese culture to people worldwide," in 1982 in the year celebrating the centennial of Okada's birth, this museum was opened in the city of Atami. The Mokichi Okada Association (MOA) Foundation, centered on the MOA Museum of Art, is promoting a wide range of art and cultural activities which not only include art exhibitions but flower arrangements, cha-no-yu tea ceremony, stage performances, an annual International Children's Art Exhibition among many others. Career Bourdelle was born at Montauban, Tarn-et-Garonne. He left school at the age of 13 to work as a wood carver in his father's cabinet making shop. He learned drawing with the founder of the Ingres Museum in Montauban, then sculpture at the art school in Toulouse. At the age of 24 he won a scholarship to the École des Beaux-Arts in Paris. In 1888 he did his first sculptures of Beethoven, producing authoritative work with an emphasis on order, the spirit of geometry, construction and invention. He became one of the pioneers of 20th century monumental sculpture. Auguste Rodin became a great admirer of his work and in 1893 Antoine Bourdelle joined Rodin as his assistant where he soon became a popular teacher, both there and at his own studio where many future prominent artists attended his classes, so that his influence on sculpture was considerable. During his last years, Bourdelle received several commissions for monuments. He was a founder and vice-president of the Paris Salon des Tuileries, and in 1924 became a commander of the Legion of Honor. Antoine Bourdelle died at Le Vésinet, near Paris, on October 1, 1929 and was interred in the Cimetière du Montparnasse, Paris, France.

The Mitsubishi Department Store (松菱百貨店 Mitsubishi Hyakkaten?) was a Japanese department store located in Hamamatsu, Shizuoka Japan. It was established in 1937 but by November 14, 2001, the store had accrued a 32.8 billion yen debt and went bankrupt. Planetarian: Chiisana Hoshi no Yume (planetarian ~ちいさなほしのゆめ~? lit. planetarian ~The Reverie of a Little Planet~), is a Japanese post-apocalyptic visual novel centering around a middle-aged man who comes across a malfunctioning robot in a dead city. The man, known simply as "the junker", stays with this robot for a time and attempts to fix the projector of the planetarium where the story takes place. Planetarian was first released on the Internet in 2004 by Key, a Japanese software studio whose previous works include Kanon and Air. Unlike those two games, Planetarian did not contain adult content, and was the second of Key's products to do this, the first being Clannad. It was later re-released on April 28, 2006 on CD-ROM with full voice acting for the female lead.[1] A limited edition version was sold for pre-orders and early buyers; in it included a 243-page book of short stories set in the world of Planetarian and some included a bonus shitajiki, or pencil board. A PlayStation 2 port and a mobile phone version of the game were published by Prototype and both released in 2006. The mobile version was used on FOMA and SoftBank 3G cellular phones. A drama CD based on the "Snow Globe" short story from the promotional book was released at the end of 2006, and two more went on sale in July 2007. The main location where most of the story takes place is the fictional Flowercrest Department Store in a derelict city. It is based on the real Matsubishi Department Store of Hamamatsu, Shizuoka in Japan, though the planetarium on the rooftop is purely fictional.[7] The onset of the story takes place within the planetarium which is where the junker first meets Yumemi. The room is filled with seats which are slightly inclined back to give the customers a better view of the ceiling during a show. The most prominent feature in the room when a show is not taking place is the large black planetarium projector called "Miss Jena", which is placed on a stage in front of the seats. The planetarium has electricity when the junker arrives, but only for a short time. Once a year for 168 hours, electricity in the planetarium is operational, but the projector is broken. The rest of the floors in the department store are run-down; mold and rats run rampant.
