Ok so what is Cauliflower Ear...Good question. Cauliflower ear is most commonly found amongst MMA Fighters & Grappler's such as Wrestlers, Sambo, Jui-Jitsu and Judo practitioners and other sports like Rugby. Basically your ear suffers a blow (hitting or digging your ear into something)busting up the cartilage. This causes a blood cot and pus to collect under the skin of your ear which basically seperates the cartilage from its nutrients and other crap inside your ear which in turn causes it to die. So since its swelled up with fluid it warps the shape of your ear and eventually it scars up and stays that way. So everyone this happens to gets a really ugly ear. You can drain your ear so it wont be as bad but if you keep training or competing it just keeps coming back so basically it gets worse and worse..and that my friends is Cauliflower Ear in a nut shell
